Then blast off into space by building your own rocket. We explore the planets and meet some space friends as we make our journey through the universe. Be ready to join in on all the fun because there’s no place like space!	All Aboard Gomer’s Pirate Adventure Ahoy Mateys! Day campers jump aboard Captain Gomer’s pirate ship and live the life of a buccaneer creating pirate hats, patches, hooks, and even their own pet parrot. Campers join together to help Gomer find his buried treasure wearing their pirate garb. Gomer is known to share his pirate loot with campers! Come join us on a Headfirst pirate adventure!	Party in the U.S.A. Headfirst Day Campers celebrate our nation’s birthday along with Gomer’s birthday. Shhh! We are throwing Gomer a surprise party! Campers create patriotic hats, construct firecracker shakers, decorate Gomer’s birthday card, make homemade ice cream, and participate in U.S.A. themed fun and games! This is a jam-packed week full of celebrations!	Gomer’s Underwater Adventure Dive into an exciting underwater adventure with Gomer as we explore the ocean and the creatures that live there. Campers create underwater ocean bottles, make a rainbow fish, and listen to wondrous sounds of seashells. Water games and relays add to the excitement. Grab your diving gear and join us as we swim with the fishes on this fun-filled underwater adventure.	Superheroes It’s a bird. It’s a plane. No, it’s superhero Gomer! Join Gomer and Headfirst campers as we discover our super powers and create superhero costumes. To become a superhero, campers participate in the superhero fitness challenge. Remember, superheroes are healthy eaters and good helpers!	Dinosaur Detectives Join Gomer and become a dinosaur detective as we explore the prehistoric world of dinosaurs! Campers make fossils, dig for bones, make dinosaurs, and build erupting volcanoes. At the end of the week, the dinosaur detectives go on a fun-filled dinosaur hunt!	Going Buggy! Headfirst Day Campers are going buggy for bugs! Create bug sculptures, make pudding dirt with yummy gummy worms, and observe real bugs in nature. Campers learn about lady bugs, bumble bees, caterpillars, ants, crickets, grasshoppers and more! Join us as we learn all about these extraordinary creatures!	Welcome to the Jungle Elephants and monkeys and lions, oh my! Grab your binoculars and join Gomer and day campers as we head out on a jungle adventure to explore the rainforest and the thrilling plants and animals that dwell there. Design binoculars, make safari vests, create jungle creatures, and take part in a safari scavenger hunt! Welcome to the jungle!	Under the Big Top Come one, come all! The circus is coming to Headfirst Camp! Campers join Gomer for a week of silliness and fun as they participate in circus themed games and activities. Campers practice their balancing skills, juggle a few balls, develop performance skills, and become a silly clown, face paint and all. Don’t miss all the fun!

Xploration	7–12	9–3	$395		Headfirst Survivor Join us on Island XCamp as campers take part in an action-packed week filled with physical, mental and team challenges and friendly competitions. Campers learn survival skills and put their problem solving abilities to the test, in addition to participating in fun-filled activities. Rock climbing, raft building, battery making, team relay races, scavenger hunts and obstacle courses round out this “can’t miss” week of camp. Headfirst XCamp will bring out the “survival instinct” within you!	Join the Circus! Campers explore their creative and silly side by discovering and developing their circus and performing arts skills. Circus arts taught include stilt walking, juggling, balloon twisting, plate spinning, clowning, face painting, magic tricks and more! Campers show off their new skills at the end of the week with their own Cirque du Headfirst performance!	Amazing XCamp Race Campers should prepare for a fun-filled week as they embark on a “race around the world” and take on new, exciting adventures each day. Along the journey, campers choose between detours, overcome road blocks and search for pit stops. Each day we learn about new cultures and countries as groups compete on adventure challenges. Teamwork is needed to finish this Amazing XCamp Race! We offer two separate weeks of this popular theme featuring different countries and adventures.	Dangerous Boys & Daring Girls Inspired by the books The Dangerous Book for Boys and The Daring Book for Girls, campers explore all kinds of exciting adventures and mesmerizing ideas. Campers make slingshots, lava lamps, water bombs, friendship bracelets, and topnotch paper airplanes along with learning secret spy codes and playing capture the flag. This camp is only for the daring and dangerous! At some sites, we offer two separate weeks of this popular theme featuring different activities and adventures.	MythBusters Ready to challenge popular beliefs, urban myths and the laws of physics? Campers work together to become true mythbusters as they conduct fun experiments to answer all kinds of fun questions. Can water power a rocket? How do soap bubbles float? Why do curve balls curve? Can we use air to launch marshmallows? How do voices travel on a string? Don’t miss this fun-filled, hands-on week!	Imaginative Inventors Have you ever dreamt of becoming the next world-famous inventor? Campers transform into modern day Thomas Edisons as they design and build fun, imaginative devices. There are no limits this week as campers investigate interesting and bizarre inventions, build “Rube Goldberg” machines, create their own games, and construct gadgets to help solve real-life problems.	Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Campers step into the world of Harry Potter and spend the week at Hogwarts. The week begins with campers reaching into the sorting hat to find out their house. Once divided into two houses, campers participate in challenges and games to earn points. Potion making, Headfirst Quidditch, wand making, muggle magic tricks, and more guarantee a fun-filled week. Who will win the House Cup?	Amazing XCamp Race Campers should prepare for a fun-filled week as they embark on a “race around the world” and take on new, exciting adventures each day. Along the journey, campers choose between detours, overcome road blocks and search for pit stops. Each day we learn about new cultures and countries as groups compete on adventure challenges. Teamwork is needed to finish this Amazing XCamp Race! We offer two separate weeks of this popular theme featuring different countries and adventures.	Adventures in Engineering Campers investigate and explore the world of engineering by creating and constructing amazing structures. Build a life-size geodesic dome, design a thrilling rollercoaster, construct an arch you can walk under, and so much more. Using teamwork and problem solving, campers work around tricky obstacles and push their creative abilities to the limit as they experiment and build to reach their final goal.
Cooking	7–12	9–3	$395						Mexican Fiesta Mexican and Southwestern foods are among the most popular cuisines in America. In this summer camp, campers will learn to make their favorite Mexican items, like salsas, guacamole, tortilla chips, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, empanadas, fajitas and the list goes on and on and on!	Gourmet Chef Challenge Just like on everybody’s favorite cooking show, each day of this week long camp will focus on one mystery ingredient. Using that item, cooking campers will make mouth-watering specialties, traditional favorites and explore new ingredients, tastes and combinations. Are you up to the challenge?	You Are What You Eat We’ve all heard the old saying “you are what you eat”, but have you ever really thought about what it really means or how it affects you? In this camp we will decipher the health information on food packaging, learn the basics of proper nutrition and create healthy meals that will not only make us feel good but will taste good too!
Imagination Science	7–12	9–3	$395			Robot Creators Calling all aspiring scientists and engineers! Ready to create your very own robot? Join us on a week-long, fun-filled technological adventure to learn all about robots and even build one of your own. Discover how robots are used and how they impact our lives. Learn the science and basic mechanics of robotics and how robots operate. This hands-on camp includes investigation of sound sensing robots, line-tracking robots, amphibious robots and more. At the end of the week, you get to take home your own creation!		Amazing Rockets Prepare for a fun week of space exploration and amazing rockets! This hands-on adventure introduces campers to the physics of rocket flight and aerodynamics. Learn about fuel, flight, space travel, space vehicles and the solar system. With a focus on safety, campers then learn how to design, build and launch rockets. Teamwork is required as we work together on mission control, launch preparation, take off, tracking and recovery. At the end of the week, you get to take home your very own rocket. Amazing Rockets camp is a blast!					Crime Scene Detectives Put on your detective hat and get ready to solve some tricky mysteries. Together, your team of investigators will learn the science behind crime solving and forensics, including gathering evidence, fingerprinting techniques and analysis. Learn how to use cool spy equipment and analyze the clues to solve a crime!
