What to Bring to Camp

What to Bring for Swimming & Water Play

Cooking Camp, Imagination Science Camp and Single Sports Camps DO NOT swim

  • Sunscreen (Mater Dei and Saint Luke locations only; St. Albans pool is indoors)
  • It is recommended that campers come to camp in the morning with their swimsuit already on (under their outerwear) to maximize the pool time and decrease the change time.
  • Swimsuit, towel and goggles
    • For water play (at Saint Luke School location)
    • For swimming (at St. Albans School and Mater Dei School locations)

What to Bring for Day Camps

Label all belongings with camper’s first and last name and pack everything in one backpack.

  • Snack
    • Pack in a paper bag and put in lunch box (lunches kept cool at camp, but not refrigerated)
    • Mark with camper’s first & last name and word “SNACK” on bag
  • Lunch
    • Pack in a small lunch box with all plastic/disposable utensils and napkins
  • Aquatics
    • To maximize swim time, campers should arrive already wearing their swimsuit under their clothing
    • Pack a change of clothes for after swim time
    • Towel
    • Goggles recommended but not mandatory
  • Shoes
    • Sneakers required for daily sports; no flip flips or sandals
  • Sunscreen Counselors are trained to assist with sunscreen application
    • Apply to camper before arrival at camp (and not in carpool line)
    • Pack in marked ziplock bag for re-application throughout the day

  • Sunscreen
  • Baseball glove
  • Baseball cap
  • Baseball bat (optional)
  • Athletic shoes or cleats (if cleats, bring sneakers as well for indoor activities)

  • Hat (to protect face from the sun)
  • Sunscreen
  • Soccer ball
  • Shin guards
  • Athletic shoes or cleats (if cleats, bring sneakers as well for indoor activities)

  • Hat (to protect face from the sun)
  • Sunscreen
  • Glove for baseball (campers will be reminded day before they play baseball)
  • Swimming/Water Play Note: It is strongly recommended that campers come to camp in the morning with their swimsuit already on (under their outerwear) to maximize the pool time and decrease the change time.

What to Bring for Xploration Camps

  • Swimming/Water Play Note: It is strongly recommended that campers come to camp in the morning with their swimsuit already on (under their outerwear) to maximize the pool time and decrease the change time.
  • No need to bring extra equipment (campers will be notified via camp handout if extra equipment/belongings are needed).
  • Imagination Science “Amazing Rockets” Campers should bring a hat and sunscreen as campers occasionally go outside to test their rockets.
