Innovators, Inc.
Innovators, Inc. is a hands-on, project-based program for rising 2nd AND rising 3rd grade campers who love to create, collaborate, and rise to a challenge. Each week, the group is presented with a unique problem to solve — from reinventing a restaurant or curating a museum exhibit to producing a Broadway-style performance. Campers dive into a series of creative projects that build artistic expression, teamwork, leadership, and imaginative problem-solving.
Weekly expert workshops or field trips bring each theme to life in unforgettable ways. From visiting local destinations to hosting accredited partners like Tiny Chefs or Squeals on Wheels, these experiences deepen learning and provide some of the most memorable moments of the week.
Innovators, Inc. includes daily instructional swim at select locations. See below for more details about swim at your site.

Learn about the Headfirst Philosophy
Why We're Different
Innovators, Inc. gives campers the chance to take on big ideas in a fun, collaborative, and age-appropriate way. Each week centers on a creative challenge connected to a story-based theme – whether campers are navigating national parks, stepping into medieval villages, performing magic, or exploring the wonders of time travel. These narratives help campers anchor their ideas, stretch their imaginations, and approach problems from new angles.
As campers work together to plan, build, design, and present their projects, they practice leadership, communication, and perseverance. They learn how to share responsibility, listen to teammates, and bring a group vision to life — all skills that grow confidence and independence.
This thoughtful blend of creativity, teamwork, and hands-on exploration supports key elements of our Super Six confidence-building skills and invites campers to discover what they can accomplish when they collaborate with purpose.
Swim & Water Play
This camp includes a daily recreational swim at our Bethesda (Mater Dei), MD and Palisades, NW DC locations! Recreational swim is an opportunity to engage in safe, supervised free swim and pool-based games. Campers will be assessed for use of permitted areas of the pool.
Campers at our Cathedral Heights, NW and Oakton, VA location will enjoy daily water play! Water play is a fun way for campers to cool off in the middle of the day. The water play activity will vary throughout the week, but will always be an active way for campers to cool down from the summer heat.
