Roll up your sleeves and get ready to slice and dice at Headfirst’s savory summer program, “Kids in the Kitchen” Cooking Camp! Each week campers are taken on a new and exciting culinary adventure from one of our professional chefs. Young chefs learn the basics of cooking using baking, boiling, pan frying, grilling, and stir frying. In each session we focus on how to follow a recipe, measure ingredients and practice food & kitchen safety. Our hands-on camp focuses on cooking from scratch using fresh, nutritional ingredients, leaving campers with a delicious sense of accomplishment and a lifelong appreciation for healthy eating.
Throughout the week, campers will also create their own recipe cookbook and decorate their own apron and chef’s hat. Become a culinary expert with Kids in the Kitchen Cooking Camp! Come to one week or several weeks of cooking camp as new themes and new recipes are introduced each week. Themes include “International Cuisine”, “Gourmet Cooking”, “Healthy Eating”, and “Everyday Cooking”.
